Thanks, and that's a legitimate site correct? I really only need the tap once for 3-6 flashes none of the other stuff

New release was a couple weeks ago, so you have nothing to fear

Added 'tap hazards' with this change basically now you just tap the signal stalk when flashers are on to get the modified patterns (eg wigwag). No longer is it necessary to keep the signal stalk in the left or right positions to keep modified hazards operating. This change means you can drive around a track or patrol a parking lot with wig wag hazards staying on and steering wheel turns won't cancel them.

Also, a new hazard mode that is easy to do: with hazards on, you tap right to get wig wag flashing, then tap left to slow wig wag down, to get slow motion wig wag, what else? If you add strobepack option then slow mo wig wag means you get 2x more pulses per side.

You can read more detail on the web site, in the hazards section. And the new manual is posted as a link there too.

All units shipping forward will have this new capability.

Here's a support message for FT86ers who have treated me so well on this product: if you NEED this new capability added on your existing TapTurn unit that has been manufactured in the last year, I can upgrade the software with a new chip for USD$25 (total) if you send it in to me I will send it back with one day turn around. This is essentially just covering my costs for the upgrade.

Thanks for the info! I'd perused the page since a few months ago but hadn't noticed anything different. I guess if you'd simply updated the info it wouldn't be particularly obvious. I'd suggest creating a "WHATS NEW" section with some sort of change-log that makes it obvious for people to see any changes

I'm moving to a new address on the 4th, so once I know what my new address is, I'll be ordering (hopefully in the next day or three!) Time to make use of my LEDs!

Guys, this is really just too cool. I ordered one just now. Replaced all of the side marker lamps with LEDs and just ordered the LEDs for the turn signals from superbrightleds.com the other day. Knew I would have to do something either with load resistors or relay. This is works out really well. @scottmcphee, you go dude, you've got a GR8 product on your hands. Congrats!!!!!!!

Relay was in mailbox yesterday when I got home from work. Installed in the FR-S using the posts for the location etc. If the wife could have taken a picture of my fat a-- contorted under the dash getting to the relay everyone would have gotten a big chuckle. Was able to pop the old relay out of its location and remove the snap in bracket and place it on the new relay. Plug and Play! Followed the instructions and programmed the unit. Works great just as advertised. I really like the programmable entrance and exit settings. Programmed mine for approx 32 seconds. Thanks Scott, once again, GR8 product!

Hey Scott I've been tracking my tapturn relay and its been at "ISC Chicago IL (USPS)" for over 7 days now. Is it normal for customs to hold it that long? I did some research and I have come up with a lot of there packages being lost or stolen once they reach that location just simply looking at their Facebook pages shows as much: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Unite...02728953124333

Ya, that's where import customs and clearings happen for USPS. Unfortunately I've seen tracked items get "stuck" there for 2 weeks or more. When they're really busy, sometimes longer... and there is nothing to be done about it :-( It's like random luck how long it takes.

Here's some tid bits: they take pictures of each package coming into the country, front and back. You can give USPS your tracking number and ask them "why is my parcel not moving"... Do that if it takes longer than 2 weeks at that spot. Ask to see the front picture to verify the address. Then, miraculously (they find your package again) and on tracking you'll see it continue on it's journey to your house.

If USPS screws the delivery up or loses it... I will take care of you, don't worry.
