Pics soon. I have one of the manifold and turbo but that's it so far. I went with the GTX version.

How did you do your fans? I hacked off the passenger side connector from the stock fan and soldered it on to the slim fan. Then went to do the other side and realized the connector is part of the fan. So that won't work. And the driver side doesn't have an obvious ground. I'll have to dl the manual for that one.
I think what you did is pretty much what anyone could do, lol as i did the exact same. I just got two two wires from the fan and the two from the car's harness corresponding to that side(fan), just spliced both ends together, shrimp wrap and tape.. It works perfect. Variable speeds and all, just like oem.

And the important parts. I'm really tempted to the polish the turbo but I reeeeaaally hate doing that.

That'll be UEL I'm assuming? Beautiful looking parts!

This thread is my nightmare. Seeing people get the same parts I'm trying to get, but before me and right on front of my eyes.

That's some beautiful craftsmanship right there. Titanium coated, correct?

yes

you can't see it in the first picture. Look in the second picture, follow the oil line directly down. You can see the low side coolant fitting.

OOOH! You haven't connected it yet...

Here I am thinking you're done with the install.

Welp, I'm done for the day since I'm unable to make remotely good observations. Nap time, I suppose.

Post pics when you're through so we have a clear record.

It turns out you can easily pry the fan connector off. Once it's off the back of it has a couple blade connectors. So mine uses both OEM connectors.

So whoevers up next installing, do that.

I was surprised at the lack of info I could find on installing these fans on our cars.

That's awesome, good to know and that's the main purpose of this thread, evolve. I suck hugely with electrical stuff lol.
