There's at least 5 now that we're aware of that aren't grey market.
We went out to the wicked big meet in Stafford Springs, CT this weekend and just got back. We put on the 75mm pulley in anticipation that we'll be doing nothing but e85 and trailering down. We measured about 2-3 lbs more with this one, so about 21 psi using a secondary MAP sensor that won't mess with fueling. Unfortunately the tow vehicle broke down and we had to park it overnight at a shopping center and the BRZ had to drive the remaining 180+ miles. It was 3/4 full on e70, and by the time we left earlier today we were on e20. The next 225 miles went by with no drama. We've also been doing a good amount of work with another 335 equipped car that has had some time to play around with some other cam timing settings while sitting on their dyno remotely. We picked up about 10-15 hp over what we used to hit 335 whp. So we're hoping for 350 to the wheels with the 80mm pulley currently once we get it back on our dynojet. During testing, we went as far down as the 72.5mm pulley right now on e75. Although it wants to break traction even in the high gears, there was no drama. We see that the top end airflow is still a bit limited (likely due to the stock exhaust) but the mid range punch is impressive. Plan now is to put on the BBK, oil cooler, and then 85mm pulley. With the 85 we should be fairly easy on the drivetrain, while keeping it on e85 will help things stay cool enough for road course work. We will find out... In this trim we should be right around 300 conservative WHP with conservative being the key word. A 2700lb rwd car with 300hp/280tq is a monster on a road course. This combo should keep the trans intact hopefully and be able to do a 30 minute session without cooking itself. |

Not sure I can make any recommendations in regards to that since we don't run 91 octane. But with the 85mm pulley it is quite manageable on pump gas. With the auxiliary 3 bar MAP we're seeing about 2-3 lbs less boost with that one.

I'm currently doing a relaxed test & tune event at a local track with mine. Running e85. Car feels amazing.
I got my kit from Mike, and would recommend him/ Moto-East for purchasing and support. We're not fully tuned out, as I'm awaiting my 3" intake, but I'm terribly enjoying the car as is. |

We have a mishimoto thermostatic kit sitting on the shelf we'll put into use. The specs on it meet our requirements, and the cost is substantially less then trying to do all of it in house. That and we don't have the time right now to make another assembly.
A bigger problem that we've found is fuel starvation under load in left turns. We've had some problems with it before at 1/4 tank or less, but we were fuel starved as high as nearly 3/4 at the event this weekend. We had two long left hand 3rd gear sweepers and on both we lost all power. Unsettling feeling when at full tilt. The issue is that at high boost running e85 you suck the fuel pump bucket dry in seconds. And the crossover tube is drawn by a venturi, which falls apart under high stress like this. We're looking at cost effective ways to battle this. Yes, we could keep the fuel tank at full, but at 19 psi on e85 we won't make it more than 10 minutes on track before having the same issue. This is not a kit issue really--just a high power track car issue. No doubt just the first of many as we keep pushing this platform. |

I thought the Mishimoto didn't fit with the Sprintex intercooler? Curious to see how your install goes...
