Received my Grimmspeed hood struts and TRD Style Fender Aero Fins, as well as the 10 OEM oil filters I stocked up on from @FT-86 SpeedFactory today...

Put them on as soon as I came home from work. The quality and functionality of the hood struts are second to none. Love these things.

The fit of the TRD Style aero fins are decent for what they are. They just stick onto the stock fender pieces. Will wait a couple days to see how the double-sided tape holds up. But so far the fitment seems good, so I'm pretty satisfied with them.

Also, I added a couple other little details to the car. Bought some oem Honda centercaps, sanded off the H logo, and painted them with Duplicolor GOLD spray paint, and the color match is just about spot on. Centercaps are the perfect size, snap right into place and are very tight.

And I added some AE86 Corolla-esque "BRZ Quad Cam 16" door decals at the bottom edges of my doors a couple weeks ago. Kinda gives it that nostalgic look to it I guess

Side skirts are molded on!!!!

This shiz was crazy. Where the rear and side skirts met the car was cut into. So, it was recessed in. Then fiber glassed and mud over. Going to fill the holes and primer it up. It looks like the body works is almost done. Just gotta do the front small flare and repaint the whole car.

1. Was hearing some clunking from under my car.

2. Immediately panicked and browsed the "Who broke its axle" thread to check on similarities between what I was hearing and other peoples experiences.

3. Decided not to panic, took three deep breaths, and went about checking all the torque settings on different components.

4. Realized my coilovers had finally finished settling in, and my top hats needed to be torqued down an additional 2lbs.

5. No more clunking!

Long story short: When something seems off, don't immediately jump to worst case scenario and calmly work down the list to diagnose your problem (unless you don't know what you're doing, then get your ass to a mechanic ASAP).

Looks good, what kind of gloss black paint did you use exactly?

Armed with a better understanding of how it's installed, put in the STi draw stiffener. Probably my second most favorite mod together with the strut bar after the carbon fiber drive shaft and tS rear axle combo
