Hey everyone, there are still 10 spots open for MOWOG Autocross #4 at the state fairground on Sunday, June 28. I'm on stock tires, so we can be competitive!

You sure he had springs? We talked a lot about suspension while we were sitting in grid.

Nice run. I like how you had the display on the video.

I was there with my FRS but did not put it into any events. I usually drag race but my drag car didn't come up this weekend. Too many drunk kids at night.

PG.2 is a more mellow since all the high schoolers are in school so the drag car will be coming up, then.

Al though I would love to get the FRS on a road course sometime.

It was actually the quietest PG that I've been to since starting with PG2013.1, was told that security was stepping it up by one of the staff members. Was definitely easier to crash (pun intended) when the sun went down this year.

It helped that the ZG crew wasn't there too with the DJ that went all night last year.

Yup, cause he said he was worried about blown struts. Went with springs since he didn't want to deal with properly setting up coilovers.

That probably did help a bit. The overall cleanliness when leaving Sunday seemed to be much better. Granted I didn't go over to the camps by the drag strip. We are usually some of the last people to leave after loading up from the road course.

As someone who stays off site to actually get some quality sleep, my biggest concern has been the pit bikes/go-karts/quads. The drivers have no regard for other vehicles on the road(weaving in and out of cars, blowing thru intersections/cutting people off) add in the amount of alcohol that probably have been drinking.... I can see something very serious happening. I saw a handful of pitbikes get dumped and the rides go tumbling, and most almost accidents then I care to count.

I also noticed people throwing beer cans off the 3rd floor of the condos this year(some hit cars below). Both during the day and at night.

That's sad to hear about beer cans thrown from the condos, total lack of class. Don't hang out there much. As I tried to relate, down by the road course paddock, it became much quieter than usual this year. No bikes or vehicles without lights and traffic after dark was nearly nil. Yes, the blazen four-wheelers were still there, but for the most part, a decent nights sleep. Slept from about 10:00 pm to 7:00 am, when the road course drivers started coming back in. Being as I don't drive over the weekend, I guess a good night sleep isn't required. I usually do the HPDS on Monday and have the whole place to myself on Sunday night (love that track).

We parked on turn two under the old road course lap time sign. There was a nice grey/black frs parked over there by some campers. Anyone here? Anyone know the white brz that was out there?

Turn 2? That put's you out in the ZOO, which is usually closed to camping. Are you thinking Turn 9, right by the entrance? Or Turn 13, towards the end of the Drag Strip? No offense intended, just want to be sure of where you were. I'm just confused, old age you know.
