I said I wanted the unmolested one with 5 miles outside, and would walk out if they didn't want to deal. So I got the price and car I wanted after an hour or so.
I've been emailing local dealerships and I got it down to about 26.5k as well. Would you mind me asking what OTD was and if you financed/leased?

'15 ISM BRZ Premium w/ HomeLink auto-dimming mirror (package 1A I think?) for $25,300 pre-tax back in January. Stevens Creek Subaru.

They were keen on upselling me to the Limited model since they had many more of those on the lot, but I had no use for any of the additional features. The BRZ I got had just been unloaded from the truck two days before I bought it.

Are these dealers that are selling for <$27k selling models they have on the lot?

Around here, nobody has one on the lot, so you're left to order, without much in the way of discounts. I think I paid about $1k less than sticker, the "online sales department" promotional price, but I also don't much care for haggling so I don't know if they would have budged further.

BRZ Premium w/ 1b - $24,700 before taxes at Puente Hills Subaru after a bit of haggling and having at least 3 different types of managers stop by for their go at an agreement. Probably not the best deal, but it was better than some other dealers. Timmons Subaru in Long Beach wanted $27,000+ for the same model and options. Promptly left when they weren't willing to budge a dime.

I'm getting my BRZ Limited tomorrow and am paying $26300. I found the dealership through www.truecar.com and suggest you do the same, it gives you the price and dealership can't deviate from that price.
