Im sorry to bring back an old thread but has anybody tried this and had it work? I have a mac and am about to purchase an OFT. I don't want to purchase a copy of windows just for the OFT if I don't have to.

Yes but I would have to shell out the cash for a copy of windows so I want to see if this works before I buy windows just to run the oft.

After screwing around with it extensively I decided to offer a beer to my buddy with a windows laptop. To download the manager, delete some un-used tunes and load up any tunes that I "might" want to use only took about 20 minutes. It was so much easier than the brain damage of trying to get the winebottler to work.

That was pretty much the direction I was headed. I just can't get myself to shell out the money for windows to use it one time.

Microsoft offers Evaluation versions you can test for 180 days.

And you can probably find Windows 7 in a bargain bin.

Like someone else said, eval versions or iso's or friend's copy (they can use them on up to five PC's I believe). Totally easy to get a copy online for free.
