This is so awesome. Like others said, for a platform this new, this is a great start. The 'ring is often used by auto makers as a sort of standardization for performance cars based on their lap times- this creates cars with hard rides and less comfort just to go around a bit faster...
It is great to see a car which was designed on principles of balance and light weight to suceed on a fast track. Endurance races offer unique racing- the car has to be extremely reliable as well as well sorted in order to do well. This serves as an excellent test for a car so new. I see a lot of wins and pedigree in the near future, as well as a fantastic career in the SCCA- it is everything drivers want to go out and have fun yet still be competitive - all without blowing the bank. |
