Installed shock sensor to OEM alarm, and recently installed LED license plate lights that replace the entire stock housings. They are much brighter than the LED bulbs I already had in there, and they are more straight white than whitish blue.

They are really bright, and crisp white. I've always liked how clean the Lexus IS trunk lights looked and this is about as close as you can get. The nice part with these is it replaces the stock light housings so you get a much broader spread of light; about 3 inches x 1 inch worth of light output (18 CREE LED's per) instead of the 1cm x 1cm of a typical bulb. Hopefully they hold up.

Sadly, that's always going to be an issue with white It's one of the reasons I don't like white cars. Darker colors show more reflections and depth.Quote:
I got mine through another vendor and they're fantastic. They make assemblies for the door courtesy lights too. As it is, the only incandescent lights left on my car are the lights on the visors

Which dome bulbs are you using? I haven't tried replacing these yet, but I'd like to find a set that output nice usable light, and are not blue.

interesting lower valence bar. You'll crush any small animal you run over without hurting the bumper!

Oil changed, rear diff fluid changed, and finally am back at a dealer that takes me seriously. New window stabilizers ordered based on the Toyota TSB.

OFT Stage 2 E85, then switched back to Stage 1 91. Wish there were more stations with E85 around here.
Oil Change JDM Clear Side Markers JDM Exhaust Tips Blue Star Badge Overlay STI Gurney Flap - I can't believe how they can get away with charging for this piece of rubber lol. Blue Pinstripe on the bottom grill to match the blue stars on badge Red Tail Light Overlays - Ended on the car for an hour before I decided to take it off. Bubbles and my poor install made it look cheap especially when the sun reflected off it. |
