Cmon guys, how come EVERY thread has to turn in to a price speculation/whinge? Can’t we keep one thread that has cool pics as something a little more exciting

And here is a comment from Boostcurising

I would honestly much rather buy a second hand FG XR6 turbo, Not only would it slaughter this in a straight line (stock and modified) but the reliability is good, and aftermarket support is very good.

And if I hear anything about them not handling I'll come and take your jugular away from you. Coilovers, Swaybars and Tires, will make almost anything handle well.

I will be interested to see the Subaru version. In my oppinion Toyota messed up not having more power. Or failing that, not being cheap enough to be seen as a 'platform'
Typical...

heh lol exactly, they may be great handling and lots of fun, but yeah, an older guy at my work has one and we make fun of him for it constanly. I'm sure they handle great, but I don't want a convertible (btw think the 86 softtop prototype is ugly as sin).

so where was I, oh yeah, price...

oh yeah, that guy banging on about getting an xr6 and beating the 86 in a straight line, he's welcome to drive down all the straight lines he wants, he can knock himself out. we'll be over here, going round corners.
