Smile rebuild FR-S Raven

back in December of last year, after looking for a Salvage Fr-s/BRZ I finally decided for one that was under my budget and the damage was not to bad

fortunately the damage was mostly cosmetic, (Fender, Front Bumper, Lower plastic bracket, and some dings) and the bags were not deployed , apparently the previous owner had some goods installed but he remove them since the car came back with no tail lights and the intake+ maf sensor were missing also all interior ligths were changed to leds and Scion logos replace with toyotas

after a few weeks and dollars, the parts started to came in

list of parts:

-OEM used MAf sensor (from FT86 classified forums)
-OEM used Intake (from FT86 classified forums)
-OEM Tail lights (from FT86 classified forums)
-OEM Passenger side fende garnish used(from FT86 classified forums)
- Passenger Fender (From www.partstrain.com)
-OEM front bumper (from Ebay / Del Rey Toyota)
-OEM lower bracket (from Ebay / Del Rey Toyota)
- Front Toyota Logo (from www.fteightysix.com)

just to see if they fit also installed the intake and MAF sensor

get it down the repairs

in the end I had to purchase another passenger door , I was lucky to find one at LKQ locally and in the same Raven color

the toyota emblem was one of the last things that I added

and then after a few months and dollars expend, I finally been able to drove him, I just need to redo the plastidip in the wheels

Nice job raising one from the dead. Seems odd with that amount of damage the car would have been totaled. Looks good now.

I think I was lucky to find it , and also the salvage dealer that sale me the car did a little work before , maybe to raise the price a little or give an impression that the car had a minor accident

I found this image in google using my vin number

Nice job! My BRZ had little more damage

It is indeed odd that car with such little damage was written off. But maybe owner did not agree to fix it and took the money. Who knows Previous owner loss, your win
