Only 600 2013 manual 10 series made?

I'm pretty sure I remember reading somewhere that there were only 600 of the manual transmission 10 series made for 2013...like globally for that specific model. Can someone confirm this? If so, 600 of one particular model is pretty rare, right?

I'm not saying the car is rare, I understand the chassis was massively produced but this particular year/model combo is pretty rare...2,500 compared to however many were produced all together.

There were total 10000 10 series across all the line up for scion. So yes, u will see a 10 series xB/tC/ etc etc if u look careful enough.

GBS BRZ on the other hand is rare, but WRB is just a killer color after a good wax.

If you are looking at an 86, I would say you should wait. There will always be more rare ones, or you can buy a 2hand one & just build your own. That's wut this car is about, a tuner/modder car.

when I ordered mine I was told 750 will be manual and the rest auto. But that's from the dealership so most likely wrong lol.

The rarest part of the 10 Series is that Ignition Silver paint. It's hard enough to find touch-up pens with that color, imagine trying to score enough for a respray. Beautiful as it is.

I thought the limit on all the limited series (10, Monogram RS1.0) were only in the states? There was no "limit" to them globally.

Scion probably just says it's limited edition as a marketing ploy...which seems to work. There are clearly leftover 10 series, Monograms, and RS1.0 still on the lot if you look carefully enough. (Try a major region such as socal)

I didn't care that my car is "limited", I just wanted some creature comforts in a white manual.

I've got a beautiful Spencer model of 1882.
First *successful* slide-action shotgun ever made.
Less than 2000 were made between 1882 and 1886,
when Spencer was finally bought out by Bannerman.
It's had 130 YEARS to appreciate in value, not to
mention the survival rate can't have been great.

Nobody cares.

I don't think it's even kept up with inflation.

I know about 10K 10 series Scions being made all with the ignition silver, I just couldn't find how many manuals 10 series FRS's there were. I actually have the 10 series Scion book for these cars. It tells you about everything, shows the motorsport side of it and is enclosed in a very nice case and stuff. It came with the car.

I just see this being a comeback for Toyota in the future. I did a bunch of research on this car before and after I bought it to find its heritage and stuff. I'm more into the history, passion, and inspiration side of cars and not the stance/rice/whatever side. I love how this car has so much inspiration and heritage behind it, especially with the styling and engineering of it. One of the cars that it holds in its build is the 2000GT. From the side, you'll notice the rear side windows are nearly identical on each of these cars, and just the little things like the 86 symbol on the side with the sideways pistons representing the boxer and that 86mm is also the size of the cylinder bore. No one I've ever spoken to that knows anything about this car has ever known that although it's a pretty common thing. The details in this car are my favorite.

I like how a lot of people here are really into stripped, base model FRS/BRZ but if I'm paying 25K-30K for a car, I appreciate a model that has all of the luxury features. Now Miatas on the other hand, I think it's silly when people have different editions because Miatas are only worth a couple grand? My Miata is pretty damn nice but the KBB on it is not that much. :p My long point being that I think the limited edition cars deserve appreciation value in the future simply because of their detail and heritage, given that people don't rice them out.
