300whp is so hard to define because every dyno reads differently.

3" exhaust from downpipe back, no catalytic converters, and 13psi netted me 305whp last month, with a dyno that reads low 150ish whp on a stock BRZ.

hm. according to bob from drift office, he told me i can get about 330+ with 2.5" running on E85, which is why i wonder if 300 can be achieved using 92 oct. 3" is also louder, not sure if i want that as a DD. whats the highest you guys have gotten with 2.5 so far?

Would you be needing upgraded fuel injectors if I want to exceed 300whp?

Hey guys,

Just a quick message to let you know that we are in the process of tuning a AVO turbo kit we have fitted to a car down here in Cape Town, South Africa.

This turbo kit is really stretching far and wide across the world and I'm not surprised, it really is a seriously well thought out piece of kit!

Instillation was pretty straight forward with the main hiccup being a slightly warped flange on the STOCK exhaust which I seem to have sorted out.

We don't have the best fuel down here (worse then cal 91 in comparison), the car made a 120fkw in stock form - I'll be posting up the results for the FI build once tuning is done - tune is currently being made from scratch.

No, we cannot get any CARB approval on any kit that modifies or removes the two catalytic converters in any way. While you can retain the standard secondary cat, the primary gets replaced by the turbocharger and exhaust manifold.

You might get 260 or so on a 2.5" exhaust running 92 and a safe tune at around 8-9psi. But - not all 2.5" systems are really 2.5" either. Nameless comes to mind since I have one sitting in a box in my garage after replacing it

Anybody had any issue fitting the inlet tube onto the the turbo intake? Mine is apparently coming off. I guess from after extended use. Just wondering if anybody had the same issue

Yea mine never fit flush but since it sees no pressure I just got it as good as I could and monitor it to make sure it doesn't move. If you climb under the car and push up on it you might be able to push it back on and then tighten down the clamp.

I tried that today, and unfortunately the tube slid out a little after tightening the tube back up -___-
I'll try using a different clamp
