Hey Y'all!

This is Andy
I just bought Jesse's 2013 raven FRS which already has the "Innovate" SuperCharger installed.
I am in the middle of trying to install the Intercooler I just got. I having problems removing the inlet elbow(for lack of a better word) and if any of you have experience with this kit, it's a pia to remove the allen bolts behind the S/C
If anybody here has been through this before, I'd appreciate some words of wisdom!
Thanx!

Yes they are a pain in the A** and yes they strip relatively easy, so be prepared to replace them.

Also there is a huge thread int he FI section on the Innovate that has a lot of good content in it.

Thanx

Yes, I read that long thread.
It took a few days to read it!
I was hoping I could find somebody local who's done it before to give me some tips.
Thanx for your reply!

they talk about it on this page a bit. The elbows can definitely be taken off with the right tools and some patience or you can remove the blower.

Some Good News, some not so-good news

I got the type of Allen wrench spoken of in the Innovate SuperCharger thread(even with the right tool, it was still a pia to get out)
But now I have a new issue, one of the allen bolts around the base of the S/C is not coming loose and I'm hoping to avoid stripping or breaking the head of the allen bolt off as was reported to be a common issue in the Innovate S/C thread. I am currently soaking it and all the other allen bolts around the base of the S/C with WD40.
Maybe one of these days I'll be able to take my FRS out
of my Garage and actually drive-it! Wish me luck!
I wanna be able to do weekend track days and attack the curves of local mountain roads here in the east valley.
