Mike: i never claimed that your tests were rigged. Just that tests already done and header performed great. And that with it installed and making major share of those mentioned +35 most of other possible bolton upgrades may add to that only very slightly, hitting diminishing returns.
I somewhat wonder how might compare shipping prices to Europe from Aceheader directly vs from CSG. And how/where would be simpler to get thermal coating on header before final destination shipping. Last edited by churchx; 05-30-2015 at 03:43 AM. |

IIRC not for free, but 'for 95$ via air'. Slight problem being that there are no ceramic coating services here in Latvia that i know of, and deciding where and how to coat logistics-wise, if it's not an option offered by original vendor.

We can have a header ceramic coated, and THEN shipped to you.

Anyone taken a look at how this fits with an aftermarket oil pan like the RacerX? The RacerX does fit with the stock header but requires removing the heat shielding on the header, does anyone know how close the Ace is to the stock oil pan?

If it is *wider* than the stock oil pan, it will not fit.

On your website you have 2 different 4-2-1 headers.
Whats the different between them? The only difference i can find one is a "15 Degree Converging Angle", and the second one is a "20 Degree Converging Angle". What does this change performance wise? second question. Witch one of your headers would you recommend for circuit racing? 4-1 or 4-2-1? Are they EL or UL headers?

CSG commented that one they tested was 15deg one. I somewhat guess, that shallower angled converging of tubes uniting together in collector may slightly work better, if it's measurable.
Main difference except 200$ different price between these two header types imho are from fact that for 20deg collector Type C header i see both RHD & LHD compatibility claimed, but for 15deg Type A one - left hand drive only. I don't get why just slightly shallower collector amounts to 200$ extra .. maybe there was some group-buy/large scale order from RHD countries? |

The Type C has additional clearance in the tight spaces, and also can be mirrored to fit RHD cars; the Type A only works on LHD. As a result, the Type A has longer runners; the Type C uses a larger converging angle to make up the losses from having shorter runners. |

The 4-1 makes a bit more power all the way at the top. The 4-2-1 makes more power everywhere else. |
