Same on the passenger side except much less wiring. Excuse the bundle of wires from the last pics...unavoidable when I wired footwells, courtesy, back up cam, front/rear dash cam, and a battery kit for dash cam. Obviously I don't care how the wires look from that POV. No wires are visible except where they connect to the LED...bc there's no such thing as a wireless power source. Wires run up the passenger a piller, through headliner, into dome.

Lol FTR I hate posting photos on forums due to size restrictions. -__- Probably my biggest deterrent for a DIY.

For those that are familiar with footwell kits, this is exactly like how one of the vendors sell it, except exponentially cheaper and wires aren't as "clean". But do you really care how clean the wires look if it's neatly tucked in behind panels? My method is $75 cheaper for the dome wired option...

BTW this is how I connected my courtesy lights. I tried looking for the connection at a Radio Shack, Frys, and a Subaru Dealership. No luck so this is what I settled with. Pretty sturdy if you get the right size. Only cost like $1.25.

Diode sells warm white (stock dome).
Amber's going to be straight up yellow...lol not recommended unless you have a RS1.0 or you wanna rice out your car like the early 2000's.

haha cuz for brz everything u see in the car is red at night. pretty sure FRS is different.

Scion doesn't sell a footwell kit. Subaru does, and it comes in a dim red. Did you initially mean red instead of amber?

@LXXXV1 I already have LED strips on the footwell on both sides which are wired to the doors (when doors open they light up with the dome light). The LED strips, dome light, and the trunk lights are all blue color.

If anything cosmetic I am curious about the courtesy lights to make the inside like a disco lol.

I would like to try and make it for both since they're on weekends and I can never make the Tuesday Irvine meets.

I have OFT, OFH, OP, and clear corners & switchbacks. It'd be cool to get something installed since I basically sit on it .. but I'd be fine doing the meet n greet / learning thing too.

Will be monitoring to see if anything gets confirmed. Thanks for puttin this together.
