I lost my STi style front lip about a month ago after running over a truck tire tread in the middle of the highway that I couldn't avoid, going around 70mph. Fortunately, no damage was done to my front bumper or anywhere else.
Ordered a replacement lip on ebay from the same seller as the original lip that I bought about a year ago. The lip came in and had an abrasion on the surface so I tell them I want to return it. They say to keep the lip and give me a full refund. I decided to see if I can make it look presentable and it worked out using a little sanding and some Krylon Fusion flat black spray paint. I feel guilty that I got a free replacement lip but whatever. Scuff mark on surface:  Getting painted  Installed:
