Agreed. The big mirrors and short distance from the mirror to the tail means that there isn't much space for someone to hide. Our MINI, on the other hand, has such tiny mirrors with an oval shape. That makes it hard to use the mirror alone. Sent from Tandy 400 |

Fender mounted mirrors are so sexy, though.

With what is now 16 months of ownership I have much more confidence in my mirrors. They are indeed set correctly, with zero overlap, but I can still lose a small car as it moves from my driver's door mirror up to my peripheral vision. It only happens for a split second, but it happens. And as mentioned by @P86RAVES, looking over the shoulder while backing out of a parking spot requires patience to ensure safety. When not on track I often get told I drive like an old man.

3 years and some change into the ownership experience. 9/10
When I wake up at 5:30am to go to work, I still get an extra pep in my step knowing I'll be driving the BRZ. I still look back at it after I park it. It's still a beautiful car. It's still a car I can't even drive at 8/10ths on the track because my skills aren't there but it's still so much fun. I still plan on keeping it forever. The wife has other plans (accord, yuck). We'll see. |

I have owned 2.0L I4's and I can't understand how anyone thinks it is a better engine than the FA20 unless they want something with higher revs than it.
3 major problems with I4's for me. 1. No torque whatsoever until about 5-6k 2. Since the engine is taller I can actually feel the front heavy bias more 3. Not as smooth as some thinks With the FA20 I can't tell that the engine sits over the suspension from enthusiastic driving(the low CoG is not a gimmick) and the torque it makes in the lower rpms feel more solid than any Honda engine I have driven at or under 2.0L |

Every morning when I get in the car, it greets me with a hug (the seats). Then I become intoxicated with the new car smell that it permeates inside.
I don't think I'll ever get bored of the car. If I do, a simple run through backroad twisties shall rectify that feeling.
