I found the two slots on the edge of the clear plastic, used my finger nails but didn't get enough pressure I guess.

Is the roof a flat black, while the front lip in vinyl is gloss black? That might be what is throwing me off...

Ether go flat black or gloss black, but not the 2 at the same time! You should know more than that.

I think the flat looks off with SWP. If it were a flat white paint it'd look great, but I think gloss would look better with the car color.

It's still hard to tell from the pictures so far, but they do look like different shades of black because of the angles...I thought you wanted honest opinions, so we're giving them to you...

if you like the sharkfin antenna, you could always get that because it pops over the original antenna and goes on with adhesive

any imperfections around the original antenna would be covered

That. The first time I looked at it I thought it was photoshopped because it was so far off compared to your lip.

My opinion: Black roofs need to be very high gloss black, otherwise it looks unfinished and distracting. I think I like the front lip being black and have thought of doing this myself on my car but it can be hard to get the lines just right. I personally would have done exactly what you did, and then I would make the roof white again. But its cool that you are customizing and having fun with your car. Find what you like and don't worry to much what others say.

This.

Because it needs to flow with the glossiness of the windshield!

Morning pics

I did my roof to see how it would look in flat black, I personally didn't like the gloat black look on other cars. Since people have been talking about how they would vinyl era there roof I wanted to show you all what the out out come would be.

Looks pretty cool from the side shot. Personally, I like the White roof, but it's your car, of course!

Keep up the good work! I'm sure others who are planning on doing similar mods are going to hugely appreciate all the pics!!
