Hello, new member here from NZ. Was the first to put a deposit down here and have a black BRZ 6mt ordered.

Subaru NZ have offered only 12 and these are expected to land in December. It'll be a long and excruciating wait. All 12 have been presold. Check brz.co.nz for some details.

As I was the first I got the choice of plates and ordered BRZ001.

I plan on some mild modifications but nothing too crazy.

Hello Metabrz.. Lucky for you to get number one... you must've been VERY quick off the mark from the email haha.

I also have signed up for the pre-order, but got 010, also in black. MT of course

Am now looking at what mods I can do while still keeping the warranty. Probably just aero / wheels for now.

The only thing I have to justify is the 60k price tag... when a brand new STi is about 65k... it really makes you wonder if it's worth it..

Hey guys,

I placed my order for a White GTS Automatic. Apparently its getting made on the 31st of May and will be in Australia by late June/Early July with Pickup about Mid July.

I am trying desperately to sell my MK6 GTI at the moment, if it doesnt sell I wont be picking up the 86 :-(

Im in Melbourne.

if i lived in NZ i would be importing the car

Yeah I know, although I did it on a bit of a whim really when I paid the deposit. Guess losing the deposit is not a LOT of money in the grand scheme of life, so if it comes to December and I don't think it's worth it I can always not go through with it, but for-go the deposit. Depends on what other options I have at the time.
