Lol. I'd rather not deal with them because most do not buy and end up wasting my time. I'm sure I lose out on at least 1 or 2 sales from being occupied by those douches. I don't want to pre judge either, so I try to tough it out. It really is weird how different FR-S prospects are.

Lol, I was able to do that once...only because some other dealership salesman kept trying to Say that the FRS was the successor of the Celica. Everyone knows it's the tC...it's in the name! Scion (which means heir) tC (Toyota Celica). Haha. Plus, really? If you knew she had a blast gen Celica, how would the FRS drive or function anything like it?

LOL why did this remind me of the little vignette within Robocop 2 where they attempt to recreate a cyborg like Robocop and it goes haywire...

Lol, those were the good 'ol days when "Rated R" meant rated R. Now although I take comfort that we are safe from our future robot overlords (for now), the winner of the DARPA competition did get a perfect score

If dealer claimed to have changed my ECU/ECM, wouldn't the "trip a" and "trip b" readings have zeroed out on the odometer? At a minimum I would think that the mpg avg. would have reset like it does when you disconnect the battery...

Not sure about that it resesting trip meters. But if they changd out the physical unit you would have a sticker under the hood for smog

The odo and trip meters are all held in the gauge cluster IIRC.

^This is what I thought also, which makes sense since you don't want your odometer (total mileage) resetting every time you flashed your ECU.
