Ordered 5/8. Received June 4th.

Unfortunately there is a backorder of the EcuTek kit and license.

so still waiting on that to come in.

yeah it sucks, but it'll probably take me a couple of days to install anyway. just to make sure I do everything right.

If anyone can help, I was planning on changing my oil after the install (since Jackson Racing states you should add a quart of oil with the engine oil cooler installed). What is the best oil to use for daily driver with occasional track use?

Motul, AMSoil, penzoil platinum 0w-20, or 5w30 if hot as hell climate.

Got my kit yesterday. But like @Jmonty my oil cooler was missing. Vendor is gonna contact Jackson and handle it. Guess I'll wait and install everything at once.

Would you consider Dallas summer heat "hot as hell climate"?

Normally yes, but it's been nice so far this year. Barely topped 90 in Houston

But yeah, you could run either. If you run it hard (sustained hard, like tracking) go 5w-30, if you don't run it hard very often just stay with 0w-20.

Thanks for the info.

Weird that people are missing their oil coolers. Might be UPS screwing it up since the supercharger kit and oil cooler came in separate boxes.
