Yep, that's my normal "try to stay away from all the noise" spot. Last year wasn't as successful as the year before, but BIR closed an area to camping due to the mess left behind. Higher ground in middle.

I'll have to look into what's available to camp on this year. We've been getting that spot or near it for years :/ |

The kart track area was open to camping the year before and people had absolutely no respect. I usually drive HPDS on Monday and that area was a major garbage bin. I don't quite understand all the late night shenanigans if you're going to drive the next day, guess I've been around too long.

I'm not sure what the kart track is.
Yeah there's so many people who go into it with some warped idea of a "MN Race Warrzzz!" I mean I've enjoyed the party up there in my first couple times but there's a well distinguished line between having a good time and ruining it for others with disrespect. But yeah about half of our camp is usually sleeping by 9. That's why we camped over there as well. |

I hear ya.
Unrelated but who did you guys tune with? I only ask because Im trying to figure out what tuning solution I should go with. Im curious if LJ @ Full Blown really prefers to work with anything in particular or what any of the other local tuners prefer. I'm also trying to decide what I'd prefer between OFT and ECUtek but I'll figure that out on my own Last edited by KevinK121; 06-06-2015 at 10:16 AM. |

The ecutek tune switching is very very desirable. I'd need to see how user friendly the OFT UI is. If it feels super clunky making changes and navigating I'd probably skip it. I still need to look into it but if I bought one used I'd take it for what it's worth while Im N/A |

Switching tunes on the OFT requires you to reflash the ecu. Take about 4mins once you are ready to write. This was not a factor for me. How often will you be switching between tunes... Cost was a factor for me so OFT was the logically choice. These cars love e85. I don't have experience with ecutek but OFT has been great so far. Headers is next on my list of power mods

I guess thats true but it would be nice if I had DD tune and wanted to switch over to the "pedal dance mode" or another more aggressive tune. These cars love e85. I don't have experience with ecutek but OFT has been great so far. Headers is next on my list of power mods Did you have it tuned to take e85 or are you running ots tune? If you are running ots, can you real time datalog to keep an eye on everything? I'd search but I'm at work and there's actually other people in the office today ![]() These are a couple concerns I have but like I said I have more work to do. |

But, if you're looking for a E tune for track and a 91 tune for street, just get a flex fuel kit then you don't have to switch maps at all. Sent from my HTC6525LVW using Tapatalk
