Do you mean the line that goes under the injector cover or the line that runs to the pump behind the head?

Mine constantly does that, But that's because I tore the bottom engine thread.

That's such a tricky part to install. Unfortunately, if it's leaking the only fix is to remove and redo the rtv gasket. I looked into getting a plate with a rubber seal made but it was way more money and effort than it was worth.

How is everyone's ceramic coating holding up? I can't tell what kind AVO uses, but based on what it looks like I've had similar things in the past and it would flake off just by looking at it wrong.

found this on AllDataDIY... there is a vaccume pump assembly for AT cars that just uses an O-ring. looks like i will be resealing it with RVT since there is no grove for an O-ring on the mechanical pump. maybe AVO can look at their pump and see if they can make future pumps have an O-ring like the vacuum pump assembly...

As long as nothing like oil gets onto it, it seems to hold up fine. My first overpipe had oil drop on to it and it took all the ceramic coating off. My new 3" is fine, but the oil leak was fixed before putting it in.

There was rust on my turbine housing after 1000 miles. I just took it back apart and had a local company I've used in the past recoat everything. It was cheaper than paying for it from AVO as well. In hindsight, that's how I would do it from the get go.

Can anyone speak to Ball Bearing Turbo Options aside from AVO's?

There's been avo kits in aus fitted with GTX2867 and GTX3076, don't have numbers on either sorry. The boys at high performance academy in nz switched out their turbo with a borg warner efr. In all cases there were custom dump pipes required, and I think mods to the headers for the 3076 to be a V band connection. I am pretty sure there was serious cutting and welding involved with the BW in the AVO position.

Has anyone machined the flanges flat to compensate for header warping? If so, any fit issues with the overpipe afterwards?
