Just chiming in to say that my BRZ is a total peasant's car that attracts zero attention in Calgary, the land of Bentley Continentals and 911 4's in the winter and Lotuses and Ferrari's in the summer.

Damn oil money.

I wonder how the Dubai posters feel, lol.

Haven't had one in a while, last week however...

Was in the left turn lane stopped at a light. Guy in a giant SUV pulls up slowly next to me, window open, head hanging out. Can clearly read his lips "That car is badass! Wonder much it costs?" as he slowly rolls forward to the stop light.

I've learned that if a cute lady asks you that, to never tell the truth. The place I take my car in to get detailed, the cashier said she really liked my FR-S and asked me how much it cost. When I told her it was under 30K she seemed to lose interest

- A car full of teenage girls told me my car was 'Super cute!'.

- Multiple times from random guys asking if the BRZ was truly a Subaru.
'I didn't know Subaru's made sport cars!'
'Subaru made that? I thought they only made cars for lesbians!' <- From a guy in a lifted F150
'How much was that car? (Response) No way! That's affordable as hell! How much does it make under the hood? (Response) You're s**ting me! You're lying! A V4? Really?'
'Nice Subaru's are making sports coupes now! Turbo'd & AWD? (Response) What were they thinking? That's not a Subaru!'

Went to get insurance policy transferred over to new car. Afterwards, the lady wanted to take a look at it. She called it extremely cute. She is probably as old as my grandma.

Also went to pick up my little brother on his last day of high school. Had a bunch of kids walk by saying "damn, thats a nice car." Also had a girl come up to my window saying "what a beautiful ride. That orange is sexy."

i had some kids pull next to me today and kept revving their engine for 10 seconds (pontiac grand prix), i waited for them to finish and revved mine once and they were like "shit i didn't expect you to be that loud, nice car!" and drive away slowly.

If I was suckered by the first few Stealerships i went to...that's how much they would have charged me.

They just stare then. $35k w/o knowledge of the twins seems feasible, no?

Without knowledge of the twins, might as well say $50k (or higher!) haha

My brother told me that for some reason, the rear reminds him of a Bugatti. I don't know what he is smoking...
