Been trying to be a good uncle by waiting for my sister to decide if she's going to do something for my nephew's graduation or not.

Hi folks -- looking for 2-3 volunteers who would be willing to come a bit early on Saturday morning (say 8:30 - 9AM) and help us direct traffic and assist with check-in. We expect over 100 cars participating!

Perks: early arrival means better parking priority, and a chance to dodge the inevitable traffic jam as 100+ cars line up at the gate around 10AM. You may also benefit from hanging out in the shade of the 86DRIVE/86CUP tent later in the day when it gets hot.

Please contact me and/or @MyRx if you are interested in coming early to help out.

Cusco-Winmax will generously be giving each registered car free gifts! They will be in the same tent as CSG so make sure you stop by and say hi.

Edit: the LSDs are not free gifts but you will be able to inquire about them.

ONLY 5 HOURS LEFT TO REGISTER FOR THE SHOW!

Those of you who are registered to show, will have a parking spot saved for you in the prominent area. I would still advise show participants to arrive early though (say 9:30AM) to help with parking flow.

Everyone else will be parked in a "General Admission" area -- first come first served. We don't anticipate running out of room though, there is plenty of parking.

I've never attended one of these, but I'll try to make it. Serious question though for people that are +2 or more people. Are you driving separately? It's been my experience that anyone that sits in the back best have been born with no legs to fit comfortably.

I've only seen maybe two others in Alameda. Too bad I can't join you on the way there. I won't be able to head over until maybe 11 or 12.
