Well come on you must have had yours what...two weeks? You should be sick of it by now I would think. It should only take that long for you to have learned the truth and that we all have been lying to you all this time. There really are no other members here we all work for Toyota and Subaru to just sell cars to inexperienced kids. If only there was somebody that would tell them all the truth and share his wealth of valuable knowledge and advice.

As I said in a previous post from a couple days ago, the good lord blessed me with some extra fundage and was planning to buy a 2nd car and keep the fr-s. I was looking at a 2013 Maxima and a 2014 Civic Ex. So I decided I was going with the Civic. While at the dealer, a 2014 SI coupe in black was really dirty in the lot and I asked my salesman what's the deal with the SI. Turns out it was a Demo Car that was about to head to a whole sale buyer. Only 6K on dot I asked to see if I could drive it and I fell in love guys. This thing rev's beautifully and my god is the interior fucking refined. Now I will say this thing does not handle as sharp as the FR-S but it's damn close. It was end of the month, they were getting ready to take a loss on it, and it was memorial day week so they were desperate for a sale. Ended up getting the car 20.5 and out the door and couldn't refuse. I'm saying good bye to the FRS as I have a buyer coming down tomorrow to pick her up.

I had some good laughs on this site and received more than enough help, this is a damn good community.

If you guys have any questions about any differences from the SI to FRS from a non-bias driver, let me know. I was in love with the FR-S but unfortunately I purchased an Out of Warranty Lemon that I was afraid in the near future would be a money pit.

Peace ya'll and remember... DRIVE IT LIKE YA FKN STOLE IT!!!
Congrats OP! I was one of the guys in your other thread telling you to get an SI and I'm glad you took the advice. I would take a manual SI over a civic EX, nissan maxima or an automatic FRS. (But not a manual FRS lol)

Even though I like my FRS more, I know the SI is a sporty car too and great fun to drive. I love the sound of those VTEC engines. I'm glad you got the 2014 model with the stiffened suspension. And since it's a civic, the options you have for aftermarket support rivals the 86. So don't leave it stock. Lower it, and slap on some bolt ons.

See! People can indeed support the OP's choice without slamming the FRS.
Thank you Sir.

Nor will you with a budget sport coupe.

Now, a coupe and a couple hundred dollars, maybe?

Then why did you buy yours? Your comment is so weird to me.

A hopped up econobox is a vehicle that is a performance version of a sub-compact car. The FR-S is not a performance upgrade to a corolla or any sub-compact/compact car so I don't see how it could be a hopped up econobox. I also understand folks find the FA20 engine boring but in my honest opinion every single 4 cylinder engine that's N/A is kind of boring in my eyes(that includes every single Honda 4 cyl engine too). All of them lack Torque and Honda is the biggest offender with a 8k rpm powerband that only feels good past 6000 rpms. I personally like the idea of a 2.8 to 3.0 liter 4 cylinder engine with D/I and a near 8k rpm redline for a sub-2800 lb sports car. Even if it made only 90/hp-80/tq per liter I would be fine with it but every single 4 banger under 2.5L feel weak as hell to me.

Now Tcoat, I thought we all discussed this in last weeks meeting. We are to prop up Atticus for AT LEAST one month, before allowing him to realize that a mustang is the far superior choice. Now he's probably running to the Ford dealership as we speak!

Unless he gets sidetracked by a civic on the way there of course.
