For the price is doesn't look half bad. Collectors are just meh, but so were the V1 borlas.

Definitely not bad looking for the price.
Looks a hell of a lot better than both the borlas I had that cost almost twice as much.

2 different borlas

Also doesn't look much different than the OFH collector.

I can't see spending money on a hack job like that at any price. Do it right or don't do it. The Tomei unit is put together properly.

I'm ready to see those videos and results. Its very tempting to snag up. Checked the forums on their quality is great from Subie drivers. http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=2332518

So on a typical N/A application, how much difference do you think the different collectors will make?

You could build on that and argue that these things in general do not make enough difference to justify the cost.

Looking at how much people are dumping into intake and exhaust parts to pull a measly 10 or so ponies out, the whole thing seems insane.

If you are going to try build NA power, especially on a small engine, where gains are measured in single digits or fractions thereof, something small like a properly constructed collector is even more important, not less.

Do it right or don't do it.
