Yes, there are actually a few compensation tables that will alter both fueling and timing based on several different environmental factors, temperature included. However, it's not nearly as precise as closed loop correction is.

Thank you for YOUR support sir, we're more than happy to provide a tune for your vehicle.

Can you email me as to whether your JDL kit has the BOV on the end tank or the charge pipe btw? Slightly different tune depending on that tidbit and I don't recall if you mentioned it before.

Sincerely,

Delicious Tuning

Did these new NA tunes get released? If not, did you guys change your mind and cancel the update? Just wondering because it's been a few months. Thanks.

Can someone explain how the Flex fuel software works? I see you have up to 4 maps for ecutek tune, now does the flex fuel use the 3 e85 transition tunes? Do you have to switch between maps for flexfuel or does computer do it for you? I was under the impression with flex fuel set up all you do is fill up with whatever and drive. Im not sure if you need to switch tuning maps or what?

It's independent from the map switching. Flexfuel uses an ethanol content sensor which ECUtek takes the output and adjust the current tune accordingly. In theory you could have flexfuel enabled in any/all/none of the 4 mapswitch modes.

so I do not need to get e85 transition maps when I purchase my base tune on 93 octane, just kit flexfuel tune when I purchase kit?

That's correct. E85 transition maps are for those without Flex Fuel kits. We actually plan on removing this option as it gets too inaccurate with varying ethanol content in the tank.

Sincerely,

Delicious Tuning

The app has been released as a production ready version and is now available through the Google Play Store. Just search for "Ethanol Content Analyzer"

Bill and Zachary, I just wanted to say that I love your flex fuel kit. The car runs sooooo smooth on e85. The engine loves it. This may seem odd, but the clutch is easier to engage when I am running e85. It is a clutch masters 300 and it is really grabby when running 91. With e85 it is much easier to drive in traffic.

Hey guys, just loaded your stage 2 NA tune on my BRZ and I can't seem to get map switching to work. So far I've tried turning the car on and pulling back on the cruise control stalk but the tac needle never moves.

Is that something you have to have that RaceROM software for?

You don't need the RaceROM upgrade for those features; can you email me at sales@delicioustuning.com.com with your full name and your order number? Thanks!

Sincerely,

Delicious Tuning
