E85 help!! Pls
So I have oft and I want to get a flex fuel kit. I know about all the brands but what I am trying to get is, what do I need to do to use a flex fuel kit with a off tune? What tune do I use or do I just plug it all in and just let it do whatever it wants. Please help me understand

A flex fuel syetem requires a ethanol sensor which measures the ethanol content and this is converted into a voltage , this voltage is fed back to an input on the ecu and the ecu interprets this voltage and adjust the tune according to the ethanol content. However to interpret the ethanol sensor input requires aditional software code to be written for the ecu. This has not been done for oft tunes. If you want a flex fuel system you will have to buy ecutek system and a flex fuel kit. about $700 for kit plus ecutek licience 300. plus flex fuel tune |
