Yup, gotta know the right things and some smart people know a bunch, but are stunted when it comes to common sense. Part of the reason while a resume will get you through my office door you better be ready to demonstrate some critical thinking skills in the interview.

My speaking Japanese isn't bad as I thought... but writing Japanese is worse than I've expected... I need to practice more.

Speaking of interviews, I may have to dust off my verbal communication skills soon. Not including today, I have 5 days left at the current job before they roll me on or cut me loose. That also means in 5 days, I will know whether or not I can go pick up the Ultramarine that I've been staring at for 2-3 weeks.

Anxiousness arising!

And the academic life makes people educated it does not prove they are smart. There can be a huge gap between educated and smart.

Alright help me out guys, I've been negotiating on price with this dealer and they seem to be firm on price, but they keep on messaging and calling me. They've called 5 times today and texted me 3 times.

I feel like they're very eager to get rid of this car because there haven't been any serious offers before me and it's been on the lot for 2 months. Right now the price is about KBB trade in + 2 new tires + oil change (which is the service they did when the car was traded in) + maybe 200-400 bucks, and I'm offering ~400 below their ask. Their price was specified down to the last cent, which is kind of funny.

Do you think they'll budge?

Car itself is okay, has a track pipe (I can tolerate the noise but it's probably pretty obnoxious), paint is decent for a used car, and there's a little rattling noise which I'm sure isn't hard to nerf. What I told them was I need to get rid of the track pipe at cost so I want a lower price.

If they dont pike your counter offer, you can explain to them how the last person who modded the car, did so in a very speicifc taste. In which you may not share so its going to have to be at the detriment to the depreciation value.

Post a link to the car? What year, how many miles, etc... Is it a certified car? Will it come with a warranty? If it's a 2013, have they reflashed the ECU to correct the DI seal issue?

Is the track pipe the only mod? Does it look like other mods have been changed back to stock? Scratches around top hat screws or intake clamps, that kind of thing.
