![]() First ...... read the WHOLE owner's manual! Second, be advised, a lot of parking stops are taller than the front end of your FR-S. Third ..... mods. DO NOT even start! .... the addiction is very real .... and expensive. ![]() humfrz |

TRD springs will make the car look great and git rid of the fender well gap. Upgraded brake pads and fluid will make the car much more consistent and reliable during spirited driving. |

For a tune would you recommend buying the tuner and doing it myself or going to a tuning shop?

Hi guys. I've always loved light bikes, cars, etc. Drove an FR-S a while back and loved the feel. Thinking about selling/trading my Evo for an FR-S/BRZ.

Hey guys!
Well I think I've been digging around this site for about a month now. I'm pretty new to the car scene and even newer to the frs/86/brz scene. Anyways I use to have no interest in the car. But one day while driving around town I saw a lightly modded ( no bunny, gt wings, hey look at me stuff) frs. Nice exaust not crazy loud nice front lip rear bumper and skirts. Lowered a little on some nice wheels. Basically I had an eye gasam ever since then. I needed to get an frs. Right now I'm 19, 20 in a month, and drive a 2010 v6 mustang. 200hp is more than enough for me, I've been saving up to supercharge it but now I plan on supercharging a frs Instead. I love the community here. The thing I hate about mustangs is everyone has one and almost every single person in a muscle Forum just wants to see who has the biggest engine. Any monkey can go In a straight line. And something I'm leading now is it's really not all about the 1/4 mile. That's just used for compensation. Anyways I can't wait to get an frs. Hopefully early this summer! |

2015 Firestorm FR-S
Hey Folks;
I am new to the forum but have been a fan of the GT86 since I saw a girl at my gym driving around on her blue Subaru BRZ. A friend of mine mentioned that there were 2 versions running around with the other being the Scion FR-S.. I was looking for something sporty and affordable, and decided to go online and look at dealer's inventory. I made an appointment to test drive a Firestorm, and ended up taking her home with me. |

Hello everyone!
My name is Chris and I just recently traded in for a used Hot Lava 2013 Scion FR-S. Been looking to downsize from my 2013 KIA Optima and was also wanting a cheaper payment. I was helping a friend search for a used car the other weekend and came across the FRS on a Hyundai lot with only 17k miles. Naturally I called the dealership about it and after 3 days of haggling I was able to get my Optima paid off and rolled off the lot with the FRS! I am super excited to find a vibrant community here and in my local area as well. I was concerned at first due to first checking out the auto guide frs forum and noticing how dead it was over there. After seeing how awesome this forum is I can see why now! I will mainly be focused on cosmetic changes, I have never really been about the twin turbo life but I could sure as hell use some good suggestions for a solid arm rest ![]()

![]() WOW - you sure picked a pretty one ...... looks clean too ...... I'll take your question about an arm rest literally and suggest there are several aftermarket ones available. The one I use is shown below. It is more of an "elbow" rest and will accomodate both mrs humfrz and my elbows (without touching). After 30 years of marriage .... touching ain't what it used to be .... ![]() It's from another application, (modified) by me. As far as modifications, stay tuned, these folks will turn you on to all kinds of neat stuff. Personally, I would recommend you consider a shark-fin type of antennea and a set of OEM splash guards (mud flaps). Then you will be good to go. Just read the owners manual ...... TWICE, two weeks apart, keep your distance from parking stops, fill it up with high-test gas and hit the road for some fun driving! humfrz |
