Will a stock BRZ headunit with Navigation fit in an FRS?

I've been looking through thr threads and can't seem to get an answer. I have a chance to buy a stock 2013 BRZ head unit with navigation for a good price, and wanted to know if its possible if it will connect into a 2013 FRS (as far as the connectors go). I don;t want to buy this and then not be able to connect it to my FRS. any info would be appreciated. My FRS is a base model 2013. 6 speed. Thanks

Unless youre getting it for 50 bucks save your money and get a better headunit. The stock one is garbage

Those are a couple worth reading through.. moral of the story seems to be it's not worth it. Just buy an aftermarket head unit, get better quality and it can be plug n play.

Ive been thinking about selling my headunit. I also have the whole antenna setup that will be required for it to work. Let me know if you are going to go though with it.

It is basically plug and play. However, you will need GPS from BRZ as well (it sits besides head unit). Satellite radio will not work, unless you get BRZ antenna and route wires (PITA). Other than that, it should be plug and play. As I know only antenna amplifier is on different connector, thus you would need to swap 1 lead.

This is true. If your not getting a hell of a deal you should spend a couple more dollars on a better unit. My friend with the same radio on his BRZ talks how great my scion 2014+ OEM Bespoke /w Navi is. Honestly used both radios and my radio is a lot more responsive than his. Good luck tho! Wanna see the outcome

It is 100% plug and play. It uses the same exact toyota harnessess as the FRS. As long as the gps antenna is provided, the unit will work pefectly fine and take all of 15mins to install. I have a BRZ and installed a pioneer unit before I went aftermarket and I just took out old radio and plugged in new radio, there was nothing else needed.
