Our provided tune will most likely keep it around 400/400 for reliability reasons. Here is a dyno of our turbo kit, compared to our complete stage 1 package (intake, downpipe, cat back, intercooler, and tune) Both runs are on 93 oct pump gas. The car is still on the factory fuel system as well. As you can see below, there is no question that the stock turbo makes much more low end grunt, but does fall off up top. That is where the 5858 takes over. These runs were done on a journal bearing 5858. I would imagine a BB could see up to 400rpm quicker spool. Sorry, the stock turbo run is kind of hard to see due to the lighter lines, but hopefully you can get the idea.

Here is another run from this morning that I took with the old cellular telephone. This one you can see RPM a little better.

Can you overlay one of these with the v8's dyno?

Quick little video from today. Just so happened to run into a 5.0 on the way back and wanted a piece of the Ecoboost. Our camera guy turned the camera on quick and got us reeling him in at the end. His girlfriend was not impressed LOL

Had some more dyno time today. Stock block is still happy. And yes, I will try to get an overlay of this set up with the stock 5.0 baseline we did a while back.

Almost hate to revive an old thread, but pricing leaked and consequently confirmed by Ford today.

Yes, it is linked to a forum and a Jalopnik article. Say what you will, I consider Jalopnik claiming to have checked with Ford to be more credible than many other sources.

That's one hell of a price, especially for the tailored engine it's getting.

Camaro is gonna have a fun time.

Wow - although it will likely be a limited run, so dealers will be charging 20k over sticker

It is my understanding that only 100 GT350s and 37 GT350Rs will be produced as 2015s as a 50th anniversary gimmick. The 37 350Rs is a nod to the number of 1965 GT350s Carroll Shelby claimed to have produced. I do not believe there will be any such limitations on the 2016s, though.

Ford is making it way too easy for the Camaro not to beat it this round.

Debuting everything first.

Both cars weigh ~3700 lbs

Camaro has an edge in power, but handling is still TBD till people can get a non V6 version on the track. Chevy's had time to pick apart the Mustang and find it's flaws.

It's going to be a good battle, no doubt. In the end, we all benefit from the horsepower war.

I do like the sound of the flat plane crank though. GT350 is going to be a nice car.
