Dropped a screw in the trunk when removing OEM spoiler. HELP?

I was taking off the OEM spoiler and Subaru has this really weird design where it's almost inevitable for the spoiler screw to drop and get stuck inside the trunk lid when you're taking it off. I tried to use a magnet pole to fish it out but had no luck.

When I drive now, I hear the rattling of it inside my trunk and I can't stop hearing it. I need to get rid of it. Anybody have any ideas?

OP, similar situation happened to me when i was removing my trunk garnish..
what i did - took that long thin flexible metal strip from inside a "hanging file folder" and i epoxied a magnet to the end of it. Then once i located the screw's position, i stuck my flexible magnetic fish inside a few of the holes in the underside of the trunk until i captured the screw..

hope this helps

Use a strong enough magnet to grab the screw through the thin metal and drag it back up to the hole where it fell in.
Cover the magnet with something that wont scratch the paint.

hahaha welcome to the club i drop one in there too.
so i used small magnet, cloth hanger and blue tape.
do not used too strong magnet it will go no where it will stuck at the trunk but have enough power to get lose screw. First of all need to locate the lose screw then tape small magnet by blue tape and get it.
