First ticket for the BRZ :( - Toyota GR86, 86, FR-S and Subaru BRZ Forum & Owners Community

I was driving through Lodi,NJ (Bergen county) an a cop pull me over to aside. Cop gave me a ticket for not having my front license plate wtf.. he did not even gave a warning (asshole) anyways, anybody knows if that gives me points in my license? :S i don't think so but i want to be sure..

Main reason why i dont have my license plate is because i don't want to drill holes on my bumper and plus it looks clean that way.

No points. You can "fix-it" and pay $20, or not fix it and pay a couple hundred.

Man that sucks! And to think that we were just talking about that on the way to the Moto-East meet!

One reason why I opted to just put on my front plate. I say do it, but if worse comes to worse, just put the license plate relocater.

its should only a 54 dollar ticket
no points...

invest in a license plate locator, grimmspeed, perrin all make them for about 75-80 dollars... no drilling required

edit: points are only given under moving violation in NJ

do you have to remove the bumper to install the plate relocator ?

No points and $54. I've gotten a few tint tickets and one for no plate, but by only NJ State police. I have never been pulled over by local PD's for things of that nature.

Lodi police are assholes and woodland park police lol I have my plate on my dash window. Haven't gotten pulled over yet been 2 months I threw it on the dash.

you got that right, that cop was just picking random cars to a side. The BRZ being an eye candy and can't be missed, not really helped on this case.
