I could've easily cancelled my order yes, but I decided to help a friend out instead and let him reimburse me for these parts. Therefore I didn't need to go through the headache of canceling the order.

In the end, MOR didn't deliver. End of story.

I think calling them scammers is just a hair too dramatic.

With that said, my biggest complaint is that we could buy the latches from Quik-Latch for $24 each in silver ($27 for black), aluminum spacers from McMaster for 34 cents each (seriously), and spent a couple hours measuring and some finesse work with a dremel and build a very similar solution for $65 less.

To me, it doesn't look like they put a ton of time or effort into the kit.

-my two cents

On the contrary, they were adept at avoiding the cost of manufacturing the mounting plate and put it in the obvious mounting location, and come up with a more mickey mouse kit,

because - its cheaper and more profit.

I went ahead and requested a cancelation of my order.. I previously was on the fence about it. I had not received a tracking number so I don't think I should have problems getting a refund.

I jumped off the ship mainly because what was to be received was not (IMO) consistent with the price of the product.

I might take a stab at making a kit myself. I have access to a lathe at work... we'll see if and when I get around to it. At the present time my bumper has been removed and reinstalled just once... My bumper does not have fitment issues...yet.

I applaud MOR for supporting the FR-S/BRZ platform I just don't think the price is right. If MOR comes down on the price%(depending how much) I would consider purchasing.

I've got mine installed. It works, but all in I'm not too impressed. Getting everything lined up just right is a real tedious endeavour (aka pain in the ass). You also need to really watch the height for the rear latches because if they are too low they will get in the way of the sidemarker light's plastic arm thingy. I am currently having to get creative to make my sidemarker sit in properly.

Bottom line: I would not buy this again.

I used a dremel to cut off part of the connector to make room for the rod. It works, I guess, but when I started the install I didn't expect to have to start cutting that up

So glad I didn't jump in on this. Was so close to pulling the trigger. I may as well make my own kit.

I'm glad I never did this. Was really interested, but I was lucky I guess, they completely ignored my emails and questions. Bullet dodged. Sorry to everyone that waited forever and paid extra for off the shelf stuff.

Yup. That's what I did. Well, actually I took a knife and whittled it down. Now that I have mastered the art of whittling, next I might make a spoon, a duck or something along those lines. The possibilities are endless!
