got a call yesterday saying that the cars will be in on the 29th of May. I asked if we can switch spots if i was to drop out but they said they couldnt do that.

Talked with Rich today. He said that there are 11 cars coming in before June and none are mine.

He did say that there will be more cars coming in in early June so stay tuned. Also, he stated that cars are coming in in a random basis. Meaning it doesn't matter what number you are on the list. Subaru is not going by any list, so I don't know what benefit the pre-order has done, other than lock in MSRP for the cars. From what I know that isn't even guaranteed. Has anyone from the pre-order received their cars? If so, did you get MSRP as promised?

That means I might still get mine! Woot! Hopefully that LR Limited in the dock shot over in that other thread is mine! Fingers crossed so tightly they're about to break

so if you guys didn't see I wasn't the first one to get the BRZ...

I hope my car is coming on the next shipment...but I guess only time will tell...

also cookie and zoomers did you guys already get a VIN ?

well I got to talk to the guy that was #1 on Irvine Subaru's list!! supposedly there's a few different list...at that dealership...

the person that bought the first BRZ in Socal put a deposit at Irvine Subaru on 02/05 so he beat most of the other people that did the pre order with Rich.....as for me I left mine on 02/18

Oh well IF MY ETA says 05/29 then its all Good and Gravy I could wait

I got the call from Rich this morning that my BRZ (Premium/AT) is here. Checked it out, test drove it, loved it.

But in the end i backed out of it as I still prefer the FR-S' front end, interior (some reason the Premium version doesnt have silver accents around the HVAC and door handles, and vents), and cloth seats. I know...little things like this shouldn't matter, but since this will be my DD for many years to come, I want to be fully satisfied with my purchase. Plus I save almost $3k with the Scion thanks to the education discount.

So whoever bought the car I ordered, must be one VERY happy camper.

which one did you pre order? the WRB?? cause from what I know that the truck brought in 3 cars White, Grey and Blue

Mine was the WRB in premium, auto.
