I'm telling you, Ichi. Better take some tonight or tomorrow you're going to be in an even bigger world of hurt.

...and keep stretching as much as you can.

Ever been so drunk you try to light a joint with your fingers by snapping them? Then find a lighter and try to smoke it only to realize your joint just fell down your v neck shirt and you're too lazy to look for it.

Then you realize once again somehow your're drunk and maybe there was no joint at all?

random thought of today: maybe eating old 1990 chocolate wasnt such a good idea.

If Ibuprofen is out of the question, there's nothing wrong with some shots of whiskey.

When on a date last Saturday night. Realized how out of the dating scene I was. Lame.

is it swollen? is it black and blue? is there a knot? does it hurt to push on the muscle? can you walk? and most importantly, how did it happen?

I hear ya brother. I was out of the game for a while then I decided that it would be nice to get laid more often. it's a total PITA. I hate everything about it. it's literally the same conversation every time. it got so bad at one point where I was getting my convo's confused and of course they'd ask, "how many people are you talking to?". thing is I didn't even know. girls are so flakey that I'd just assume one fell out of the rotation only to have her resurface out of no where.

It's swollen, not black or blue (last time I checked). Feels like big fat knot. Yes, it hurts like bitch when push on the muscle. I can barely walk. It happened while playing soccer (try to sprint).

& all my friends that recommended the drugs. All those are out. They're too strong or they have an aspirin (I'm allergic to aspirin).

I'll try to rest today & from Tuesday, slowly stretch

during a sprint? that's strange. people usually damage their hamstring stopping or making a cut(which usually includes a speed change anyways). not being bruised is a great thing. of course it could take a few days to show but if a weeks goes by and it never comes you're in great shape. it's just a time issue at that point.

get into an ice bath if you can for about 3-5min at a time if you can stand it. and wrap that ish tight. a cold wet compress squeezing on that thing is job #1. might want to see someone after the swelling goes down. at the very least they can give you anti-inflamatories that will be as strong as a handful of advil without being so much volume of meds hitting your lives. also ask the Dr about Voltaran gel. it's a topical AI that helped me a ton. it's really great stuff.

I'd like to give you more advice like maybe getting on a foam roller or massage but without seeing it I wouldn't feel comfortable, just don't ice it all day long. 15min intervals. you still need blood to flow there and heal it up. just not swell it up.

good luck champ.

Thanks for the advice! I'm calling sick today for work to recover much as I can, so I can start working again tomorrow.

I've been icing, but rotation for now. I knek you need blood flow, making sure not over icing.
