Well when you get sponsors or have event requirements you don't really get a choice on the meh big stickers.

Based on your signature I feel like you should know all this? I don't have any for my FR-S (my Evo does, though) but if you run in SCCA National level events you're required to run a large TIRE RACK decal along your front windshield. Some sponsors ask that you run window decals either front or rear in exchange for discounts or free stuff. There are also many 'show' teams out there that require their members to run front windshield decals but that's a different matter.

Understood and I know exactly what you're talking about I just misinterpreted you're reference to sponsorship

When you said "sponsor" I assumed someone was paying you to play with your car, and that was something I wanted to learn more about.

You don't get those kinds of sponsors until you're running circuit/drift at a professional level. Think SCCA Club Racing and above. Unless of course someone really wants the publicity but I don't know of anyone who is actually getting paid to autocross.
