Tips on removing front drop links

Having a few issues with mine, the Allen key hole is rounded, is there a flat spot on the rear that I could get a spanner on to stop the thread spinning so I can then undo the nut?

Thanks

Mine rusted extremely fast, I ran into the same problem. I ended up just putting a big set of vise grips on the shaft (destroying the rubber boot) and using my impact wrench to remove the nut.

I installed new ones a month ago and they're already starting to rust!

I had to do this recently as well. There was quite a bit of thread to work with on mine.

Clean the threads with a wire brush and use some penetrating oil on the nut if you haven't already.

Lock together a couple of nuts on the outer part of the bolt (preferably this part dry and clear of penetrating oil). This should give you something to hold a wrench/spanner on to keep the joint from spinning.

If it was as rusty as mine, you may have to work the nut back and forth and clean with a wire brush as you go.

Try hammering a torx bit into the stripped allen keyway.
