Oh damn, is the race splitter ($160) on top of the street splitter ($375)?

Yup. The race splitter package is just the rods that connect the street splitter to the bumper.

My day job is a waterjet programmer/operator/technician. I recently had AC installed in my office and my boss told me to make a border for it to cover up the hole they cut for it...I don't think this is what he had in mind. lol.

I decided to try out some E85. It isn't to available in CNY but I found some an hour away and had to try it. So far so good. The engine feels more smooth but thats it. I think I had my 93 octane tune dialed in so well that the difference seems minimal. I would say the power increase is about the same as half that of when you turn off the air conditioning.

http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=86813 I bought some stick on carbon fiber from and auto parts store, but that on first then added the sticker off of amazon. It was pretty easy.

Took the grill out this weekend. Ever since my run-in with an air borne concrete chunk of road my grill hasn't clipped in properly anyway. Im still on the fence about it. What do you think?

Don't you now run the risk of debris cracking your oil cooler and spraying oil all over the road?

This was one of my fears however I only put around 3000 miles on her a year and most of those are track miles. As long as I don't swallow a cone at autocross I should be fine. Even so, the oil cooler isn't too expensive.

Loving your build so far; aesthetically pleasing and very functional. You and I are definitely building in very similar ways.
Keep up the great work dude. |
