A shop quoted me at 550 for the pipes install and retune is this a good price and what is the quality of the pipes and are they good for being turboed.

If you did your research you would know that agency power is a company to be avoided at all costs.

Agreed, you get what you pay for. A quality front pipe, overripe, install and tune will likely be more around $1k.

One person having good results does not make it a good company. There's alot of threads (not only on this forum either) of their products either not fitting, breaking or being of poor quality.

Could never get the slip-joint to completely seal on the agency power over/front pipe combo, and fitment wasn't so great from what I remember. Took it off a year ago and had to cut through it because the slip-joint siezed up (but still managed to leak)

I also dislike slip-joints in general, although my Q300 has never really had an issue

I have an Agency Header and all pipes to the catback because a shop wanted me to try it and see. Got it for cost. I put it on myself and it was pretty easy and fit well. The welds looked good and clean. All the bolt holes matched up. I can't complain.

I am not just one person, there are plenty of others who like Agency Power..........I am just the first one in this thread to say so

Frankly, this thread will just become another Agency Power Bash thread.....mainly from people who never owned any thing from them.

You can't argue that a lot of people haven't had problems with AP products, there are tons of threads out there. Personally I had issues with cracking welds on an AP downpipe for my STi as well as AP injectors that didn't flow anywhere near the same as eachother.

Sure many of their products are holding up fine, but there is still a higher risk when using them than a company that rarely, if ever, has issues.

So you know that everyone here who is bad mouthing AP has had nothing from them ever? That's a strong assumption.

I had a Agency Power DP that didn't fit right on my '06 rex. So I sent it back and they gave me another one, that didn't fit either. Sent it back and got another that didn't fit. I ended up getting a refund and went with Cobb instead.

A 60 page thread on NASIOC doesnt agree with you. Plenty known about their past. Surprised there not banned on these forums after their whole 3 thread fiasco when they tried to claim 200 whp. Lots of people have dyno'd there parts and saw nothing close to what they claimed. Not to mention horrible QC. I am pretty sure almost everyone who knows their past know they make things in Taiwan. Ex employees pointed that out on NASIOC.

Sorry for the bump but Ive been away. People need to be aware on Agency Power and Vivid Racing. Theres a reason why your the only person who thinks they are any good. Have you even dyno'd your parts? Probably not. Otherwise you would know that they are full of shit.

If you dont even know of how they are banned on almost every major Suburu Community/Forum maybe you deserve to get shitty parts that are just over priced copies from other companies.

Do a quick search on google of NASIOC Vivid Racing or Agency power and some light research and you willl see why they are to be avoided. Look for the HUGE thread and towards the half of it you will see its almost all bad reviews from then on.

There was even a web page dedicated for bad reviews to them and it was taken down because the owner of Vivid Racing/Agency Power threatened legal action towards the owner.

And if you didnt see the 3 horrible threads Vivid Racing made claiming 200 whp from just bolt on parts which no other company even had yet and still has at the moment unless you use e85 then its just obvious you know nothing. Someone even pointed out their header I believe was a complete rip off of the WRX STI header.

This guy probably has no idea Vivid Racing made Agency Power because of all the bashing that was done on so many well known Subaru forums on there customer service(screwing people over on orders) and complete rip off of parts from other companies. They were well known for doing it to the B series engines in the 90s but once things got more complicated to make more power they got exposed.

One thread, started by one poser, who had an issue he himself helped to create.......thats what I see in the NASIOC post.

And why do you always think I am the only one who "thinks" (actually knows) they are good.....I have been to their store, bought their product, had them do work on my cars (yes plural, meaning more than one), I HAVE REAL LIFE EXPERIENCE WITH THEM.

What is your personal experience with them? (I Don't give a ____ about internet stories, real life experience). Unless you have actual experience with the company's you are so fond of bad mouthing your opinions mean nothing.............

Have I dynoed the parts, Have you? I know what my car does, not only from their dyno, but I got the same results from another shop as well........do any manufactures claims match up to out side dynos, never have, never will......why, every dyno is different, weather conditions have a part in the results, even how the run is done.....

I know for a fact there is more people who agree with me than there are who disagree.......otherwise they would not be in business still would they.............

In other words I have to remember not to.....well this is better......

Reviving this thread because I might be picking up a AP front pipe and over pipe. The owner also says he welded together the slip joint and has no problems with it leaking. Do these frontpipe/overpipe combos actually not make much hp? Have anyone else seen defects from the AP front/over pipe besides the leaking at the slip joint?

Thanks in advance

Edit:
I will be getting a catback with this AP front pipe and overpipe combo. It shouldn't be more than $400 for it total. Just FYI.
