Enkei TX5's in 17x8 et 45, wrapped in stock tires (little too much stretch for my liking) Once these wear out I'll be putting a set of 245/40R17's on it.

Pics:

They're dirty as hell in this one, but its all I've got with the car in the shop right now:

wholey cow, not sure how prepped your car is (as compared to others out at same time) but it really showcases how the more agile twin reels in other cars in the corners. even on that long right sweeper you were able to hug the corner where others were making wider arcs. unsure if they were giving you position in those corners but great driving none the less.

Thanks man!

Our cars are super fun to drive at the track man both stock and modded since it is very balanced.

My mods are these:

17x9 +35 RPF1 with 245/40/17 Hankook RS3
Tein Street Flex Coilovers
Project Mu Club Racer brake pads with Motul brake fluid

It's a pretty standard entry level set up for a lot of FRS/BRZ guys who track.

My best time at this track with my set up is about 2:10. A good driver can get it down to 2:02-03, which is very fast without any engine mod. I happen to bring my wife to the track, so I wasn't even trying to go all out. haha In the video, you can clearly see that I wasn't oversteering in 95% of the map. That means I wasn't pushing it too much.

People who cry about our cars lacking power needs to learn to drive.

Which one is this? I really like the JDM STi wing, or the TRD griffon one. The STi wing is still over $2000 on japan parts though, and I just can't swing that for looks alone.

Garage
This actually happened about a month ago but I garage bomber my shifter.

I originally had the Kartboy short shifter and I couldn't live with the play and nasty NVH so I had to figure out another solution. So... I sold it.

Went out and got another OEM shifter, garage bomber the hell out of it, and now it's short like a chode.

The setup includes a Perrin Shifter Bushing, MTEC Shift springs and goes great with the OEM arm rest. It's the perfect height with the arm rest and it feels super ergonomic.

Due to the reduce height, you lose leverage so it feels better when putting it into gear. It's a more direct and engaging feeling and of course, the throw is a lot shorter.

Its actually pretty decent quality. My wife and I are sharing the car as a toy and she is totally ok with the amount of Rice lol.

She has a Forester to DD and I have a STI, but honestly, this is the car we fight over

Forester/STi/BRZ between you and your wife.

Wish my wife let me make that line up.

My hubby and I have similar setup, but I have an 2013 FRS as my DD and he has a 2014 Forester XT as his DD. BRZ's were too marked up and really hard to come by in June 2012, so I ended up buying an FRS.

I enjoy the turbo and comfort of the FXT and he enjoys the handling and fun of my FRS--and, we both have coilovers, front lips, aftermarket wheels and tires, underbracing, intakes, exhaust, and mud flaps, hehe.

We're hoping to eventually have a WRX as my next DD and then keep the FRS as our play car. Couples that mod together, stay together, I guess, lol.
