Rear day time running lights

I know when my 2015 BRZ is running and the hand brake is off the front LED day time running light are lit. Are the tail lights also supposed to be lit also? I installed after market tail lamps and they do not light up along with the front running lights but I don't know if they lit up before I changed tail lamps.

The tail lights are lit when you are either: Driving at night (with your lights set at auto of course)/Headlights turned on, or have your parking lights on.

Thanks Jack,

I thought all along that the tail lights came on with the front driving LEDs. You got me straightened out.

I thought about wiring the rear fog light, to serve as a rear daytime running light, but wasn't sure what source to use for power. The amp was the only thing close that I thought of, that had power when the car was running.

I have my rear fog light wired to my parking lights and brakes lights. It was a kit I got on the internet. Greg

That's what I ended up doing, building my own harness.
