Nothing yet but every day I'm close to pulling the trigger on an OFT. I'm afraid I'll regret it if I do.

What makes you say that?

There seem to be a LOT of satisfied OFT users on this site...

I'm not happy with mine because it's not logging properly. However, I think that's more down to them not having an updated ROM for the tune I have. Apart from that though, it's great. It made much more of an impact than the intake or exhaust I put on. Dollar for dollar, it's probably the best mod you can do with your car. Don't regret purchasing it though.

What I do regret is cheaping out on some stuff. Like my rain visors, the 3m tape lasted less than 2 weeks. My first exhaust, although that was more of a trial run to see if I could live with an aftermarket one. And finally, getting cheap coilovers. They REALLY sucked when I first got them, but now maybe they've broken in (is that even a thing for suspension?) and I've played around with the dampening and they're at a level which I'm actually pleased with. In the end though, still didn't stop me from upgrading to a set of the DSG Special Edition Fortune Auto 500 coils. (Swift springs, better shock oil, radial bearings, and the best part, built fresh to order and actually tested to ensure they'll function properly)

True, as I have heard but a lot of it comes down to getting bent over the price when buying it from Canada. That $495 tablet will cost me nearly $700 so that makes it a lot less attractive to buy. I'm also unsure about having to reflash all the time before going to the dealership for warranty work including oil changes. Then there's the want to buy catless headers that is guaranteed to follow!

You don't have to reflash if you are getting an oil change. I have NEVER seen the techs hook up to the OBD port when doing something like that. They want you in and out as fast as possible.

going off that logic, EVERYTHING is more expensive as I don't think there are many Canadian vendors.

Therefore your bang for your buck is still with the OFT above all others for N/A power

Plus the few Canadian vendors around happen to charge USD anyways so you're not even saving anything by going with a Canadian vendor. You're still getting raped by the exchange rate.

Yep us Canadians have become a lot poorer in the past year when it comes to buying anything (everything) affected by currency exchange. Normally (like in the early 2000's) when our currency dropped it was good for our economy due to increased exports, but so much manufacturing left Ontario in the last decade that probably will never return. And services are limited in terms of exportability (is that a word?). Bottom line is my plan for FI will probably be dead for now. More power for the US and A.

What Do You Most Regret Buying for your Twin?

TRD exhaust. I moved to a much nicer neighborhood recently and the exhaust gets unwanted attention due to the sound level.

It would have been my black Enkei PF01 wheels... then I had them painted gold and I love them now. I think a black gloss finish would have been fine on the PF01s. The matte black just looked so drab the minute they were no longer perfectly clean.

Really? I have the TRD exhaust, think it's suppose to be one of the quieter ones. It is kinda loud when you get on the gas tho
I agree about the black wheels, even gloss, they kind of disappear unless they are in direct sunlight.
