Subaru is a niche brand in Japan, just like it is in the US, so I would tend to believe the Toyota 86 model would be more popular. I've also noticed that most of the aftermarket tuners have leaned towards purchasing 86s as demo cars instead of the BRZ.

Im telling you... The BRZ would look nice with the duckbill lip spolier instead of the limited one. That premium BRZ looks nice black on black.
