I got it before I finished my first tank of gas. My car needs to be totaled now.

My crickets come and go with no rhyme or reason. 91, 92, E85... Doesn't matter sometimes they are awake sometimes they're not. Seems to be worse when its hot outside though but that could just be my imagination.

I have changed my mind on cause about 5 time now but for the last week we have had cold mornings and very hot days. Drive to work, no crickets. Drive home, cricket fest. Same tank of gas, route, driving conditions, speeds and the only variable is outside temperature. Seems clear cut to me now.
They no longer annoy me anyway.

I started hearing them on my 2015 BRZ Limited. 1,700miles on the clock, they woke up around 1,500 miles. They were horrendous when I got some cheaper gas, quieter on the usual Shell it seems, cold mornings they are non-existent though.

Just hit over 400 miles and no crickets yet. As for gas, I always fill up at Chevron - 92 octane. Maybe I'm one of the lucky few? D:
