Depends if you want FWD or RWD. I like the SH Preludes also. They arent as sporty looking, but they do have a more adult look to them stock. The BRZ/FRS has a more tuner look. Both cars are nice in their own way.

Pick a compact car designed to be a daily driver that isn't in the sports car category.

Now tell me why the prelude is considered a sports car but the car you chose above is not.

I think if you look at the period the ludes were in production, they were the sports car of the honda lineup. Excluding the NSX, which was out of the realm of most people at the time. For the masses, the lude was the sporty offering for their lineup.

FR-S/BRZ VS Prelude

How about Wtf is wrong with u to use wtf so lightly?

Hope I didn't go over board. Prelude are pretty sporty for what it is & it doesn't need to pretend to be one. Of course you can say Altima from the same time were nice too but that's a different story.

They are like speed 3 of today.

The same could be said about the FRS. Just like the Corolla, it's cheap, has pretty awful interior, a lackluster engine and McPherson struts. It's basically a RWD Corolla. I mean seriously?!

At least the Prelude SH had proper suspension design and a terrific engine.

Not really. The FR-S was designed from the ground up to be a sports car. Are you retarded?

So, you're saying the Prelude wasn't designed to be a sports car?

I don't know was it? I just know it has more in common with a modern day Corolla than it does with an actual sports car.

And what you quoted was referring to the guy comparing a Corolla to an FR-S. I think the Corolla would need more than just a shift to RWD to be at the FR-S's level. That's what I meant with that quote.

The only things the FRS and the Corolla have in common are the three things I mentioned: cheap interiors, lackluster engines and macphail struts. The Prelude SH has a nice interior, fantastic engine and proper suspension. Aside from both being fwd, the prelude is as far away from a Corolla as the FRS is. Instead of getting the point, you went all ad-hominem up in this MF'er.

They're all cheap cars bud. Try not to over think it.

I guess it depends on what your definition of "sports car" is.
It's like the circle jerk on NASIOC where everyone says the sti is just an impreza econobox but it's faster in every way compared to an FRS that was "designed from the ground up" to be a sports car.
