Early results in internet land has the V720 a good half second plus behind the Stones and Rivals.. They are cheaper so there is that..

Not surprised. Khumo hasn't had many great "fast" street tires.

Another STX victory for the Bridgestones(by a full second)CFR SCCA. 112 drivers, about 12 in STX.

Overall pax #2.

About 45 runs in, they still grip like crazy. Might flip them soon to get most out of them

The RE-71R tires did extremely well at Road America this weekend. I didn't like them at all at first, since it felt like there was NO communication from them whatsoever. Once I started dialing in the pressures to where they should be, it got a LOT better. They do feel like they have far more grip than the RE-11's. We'll see how many track days they last before they feel like they're starting to heat cycle out.

I also ran them in heavy rain most of the way home (5hr drive) and found some standing water to drive through at 72mph...and it just shrugged off the water like it wasn't there. So, they do great in the rain as well and never hydroplaned after this first track day. Haven't measured tread depth yet, but I can do that if anyone is curious.

I saw that you can order them on tirerack, but I talked to a local dealer and they said the tires haven't hit stateside yet.
